As the comeback of ZTE in the Philippines approaches, the brand seems to be teasing its customers nonstop. Another Axon 40 series device featuring a 108MP camera module, a 1/1.52″ sensor, and an f/1.9 aperture was revealed this time.
The ZTE team took the Axon 40 Pro to the streets of Binondo, Manila, over the Chinese New Year, as shown on its Facebook page. The photos capture an impressive amount of detail and vibrant colors.

Axon 40 Pro Specifications
The ZTE Axon 40 Pro maintains the punch hole design for the selfie camera and boasts a 6.67″ 144 Hz display that is comparable to the Ultra from last year. It is a 10-bit AMOLED screen that is curved, with a resolution of 1,080 by 2,400 pixels, and a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits.
The old but good Snapdragon 870 chipset, along with 8/12 GB of RAM and 256/512 GB of storage, powers the 40 Pro. There is no memory card slot for this model.
Some of the benefits of the Ultra have been carried over to the Pro, such as stereo speakers with DTS:X Ultra audio decoding. Even if the battery’s capacity reduces to 66W fast charging, it is the same size at 5,000 mAh.
