Poco is holding an event at MWC, and we expect to see new smartphones there, including the Poco M4 Pro (LTE variant) and the Poco X4 Pro 5G. To put an end to the suspense, Poco Philippines has confirmed that these two devices will be released on February 28 in an online event.
When we look at the phone’s specifications, we can see that it’s the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, but with a different back design and the iconic Poco yellow color.
The Snapdragon 695 chipset and a 6.67″ AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rate will be found in the X4 Pro 5G. On the back, there’s a 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera.
The X4 Pro 5G’s battery capacity is 5,000 mAh, with charging speeds of up to 67W and a full charge time of 41 minutes. We expect the X4 Pro 5G to have a different interface than the Redmi Note 11 Pro, with a Poco launcher on top of MIUI 13, which is based on Android 11.
The Poco is advertised on Amazon with 256GB of storage, although more storage options may be available. The pricing on the listing is roughly €350, or PHP20,000, but when Poco formally launches this phone on February 28th, we’ll have full confirmation of prices – as well as any regional variances.
