XPENG officially arrived in the Philippines on September 25, 2026. At a launch event inside SM Mall of Asia Arena, the global Physical AI company revealed its full six-variant lineup. The lineup spans the XPENG X9 Ultra-Intelligent Seven-Seater MPV and the XPENG L03 Next-Generation AI SUV Coupé. Prices start at ₱1,548,000, giving Filipino buyers their broadest look yet at the brand.
Roughly 3,000 guests attended the event. The crowd included media, content creators, dealers and banking partners, and automotive executives. Additionally, members of the public joined the audience. Together, they watched a presentation that paired vehicle debuts with a broader showcase of XPENG’s Physical AI work. Clearly, the brand wants to be known for more than just cars.
XPENG X9: Two Trims for the Flagship Seven-Seater MPV
The XPENG X9 leads the lineup as the brand’s flagship MPV. It comes in two Long Range variants, each built around different passenger priorities. The XPENG X9 Long Range costs ₱3,858,000. Meanwhile, the XPENG X9 with Second Row Premium Seat Package costs ₱4,058,000.
Both variants share the same core technology. However, they take different approaches to second-row comfort. The Premium Seat Package trim adds four-way powered headrest adjustment and 16-point massage. In contrast, the standard X9 Long Range features Zero-Gravity seats split by a central aisle, which makes it easier for passengers to move between rows.
Additionally, every X9 variant gets class-leading active rear-wheel steering. As a result, the MPV’s turning radius shrinks to just 5.4 meters despite its size. An intelligent dual-chamber air suspension keeps the ride composed. Meanwhile, the powered third row folds flat beneath the floor at the touch of a button, freeing up cargo space instantly.
Under the skin, both variants share the same front-wheel-drive electric motor. Together, the motor and a 110 kWh battery produce 235 kW and 450 Nm. Consequently, the X9 delivers up to 615 km of WLTP-rated driving range. Furthermore, a compatible DC fast charger takes the battery from 10 to 80 percent in roughly 12 minutes. So, long trips need not mean long stops.
Buyers can choose Midnight Black, Arctic White, or Matte Gray. Silver Frost, meanwhile, comes by special order only. Inside, every unit gets a Meteorite Black interior as standard. A Coffee-toned cabin, however, remains available on request.
XPENG L03: Four Ways to Go Electric in an AI SUV Coupé
The X9 targets families who need space. In contrast, the XPENG L03 Next-Generation AI SUV Coupé targets buyers who want flexibility in how they go electric. Its lineup spans four variants overall. Three are battery-electric models, while one is a range-extended electric vehicle, or REEV.
The XPENG L03 EV RWD Long Range Ultra tops the range at ₱2,058,000. Below it sits the XPENG L03 EV Long Range at ₱1,698,000. Next comes the XPENG L03 REEV at ₱1,598,000. Finally, the XPENG L03 EV Standard Range anchors the lineup at ₱1,548,000, serving as its most accessible entry point.
The Long Range Ultra pairs a 71.1 kWh battery with up to 480 km of range. It also adds front-seat massage, an upgraded sound system, and extra intelligent driving hardware. The EV Long Range uses that same 71.1 kWh battery for up to 520 km of range. Meanwhile, the EV Standard Range combines a smaller 58.3 kWh battery with up to 445 km of range.
Notably, the REEV variant suits drivers who want an EV-first feel without losing long-distance flexibility. Its 37.2 kWh battery outsizes what conventional hybrids typically carry. As a result, it delivers up to 215 km of pure electric range on its own. Consequently, most daily commutes and errands can run entirely on battery power. Even some intercity trips can, too. When the battery needs support, the onboard engine simply generates electricity instead of driving the wheels directly. This extends the L03 REEV’s combined WLTP range to as much as 1,017 km.
Across all four variants, an electric motor drives the rear wheels. Additionally, a compatible DC fast charger handles a 10-to-80-percent charge in about 20 minutes. Inside, buyers get a five-seat cabin and a 539-liter rear luggage area. A 15.6-inch central touchscreen anchors the dashboard, alongside XPENG’s full suite of driver assistance and safety features. Exterior color options include Arctic White, Midnight Black, Rock Gray, Silver Frost, and Phantom Purple, all paired with a Dark Gray interior.
Anne Curtis Joins XPENG Philippines as Brand Ambassador
Beyond the vehicles, the launch marked a bigger moment: XPENG Philippines formally introduced Anne Curtis as its official brand ambassador. The actress, television host, and recording artist now joins the company as it brings its vehicles and its Physical AI vision to Filipino audiences.
According to XPENG, Curtis brings sophisticated style and broad appeal to the role. Moreover, her relevance across generations mirrors the brand’s premium, modern, and technology-led identity. She appeared on stage alongside XPENG Philippines Country Manager Katoon Su, XPENG Southeast Asia General Manager Sam Chu, XPENG Vice President James Wu, and XPENG Vice President of Design JuanMa Lopez, among other regional executives.
The event also featured special displays of the XPENG X2 Flying Car and IRON Humanoid Robot. These underscored the company’s ambitions beyond passenger vehicles. Additionally, performances by TJ Monterde, Pinoy Pop group GAT, and content creator Criselda Alvarez rounded out the evening’s program.
“Tonight, Filipino customers saw the full range of choices behind our Philippine debut, from the space and comfort of the XPENG X9 to the different electric driving options offered by the XPENG L03,” said Katoon Su, Country Director of XPENG Philippines. “We are pairing these vehicles with comprehensive ownership support and a growing dealer network because the customer experience after the launch matters just as much as the technology presented on stage.”
Ownership Perks: Maintenance, Warranties, and Charging Included
XPENG backs its Philippine lineup with a generous ownership package. X9 owners get five years of free preventive maintenance and five years of free roadside assistance. They also receive a five-year bumper-to-bumper warranty, an eight-year battery and motor warranty, and a 7kW wall charger.
L03 owners get a similar package overall. However, their preventive maintenance coverage runs two years instead of five. The same five-year roadside assistance and warranties still apply. Additionally, L03 EV buyers receive a 7kW wall charger, while REEV buyers get a 3.5 kW portable charger instead.
How to Reserve an XPENG X9 or L03
Reserving a unit stays simple. Buyers can reserve the XPENG X9 for ₱25,000 or the XPENG L03 for just ₱10,000. To do so, they simply message @xpengphilippines on Facebook or Instagram.
XPENG Greenhills, XPENG Makati, XPENG North EDSA, and XPENG Cebu also accept reservations in person. Furthermore, additional dealerships should join the network soon. Deliveries, meanwhile, aim to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, though availability may vary by model, variant, color, and dealer allocation.
XPENG’s Vision Beyond Cars
XPENG calls itself a global Physical AI company, not simply an EV maker. More than 40 percent of its workforce focuses on research and development across artificial intelligence, software, robotics, and advanced mobility. Moreover, the company builds its AI technologies, driver assistance systems, in-car operating systems, powertrains, and electrical architecture entirely in-house.
By the end of 2025, XPENG had already reached 60 countries and regions. Its cumulative global deliveries, meanwhile, surpassed 1.2 million units as of July 31, 2026. XPENG Philippines now stands as the company’s first Southeast Asian subsidiary, an early foothold for its regional push.
