Xiaomi sub-brand Poco kicks off the year with the latest addition to the M series — the Poco M4 5G. It is a mid-range handset featuring the Dimensity 700 chip, with a 50MP dual-camera setup, and a 90Hz display.
For starters, the Poco M4 5G packs a 6.58-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a waterdrop notch for the 8MP front-facing camera and comes equipped with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. It also has a set of two cameras on the back that consists of 50MP primary and 2MP depth modules.
Under the hood is the Dimensity 700 chip. It comes in two memory configurations – 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB and runs on the latest Android 12-based MIUI 13. It also has a dedicated microSD slot which expands up to 512GB. For biometrics, the handset sports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Powering the device is the 5,000mAh battery with 18W wired and 5W reverse wired charging support through the USB Type-C port. Albeit, the charging brick can go up to 22.5W. Aside from that, the M4 5G comes with an IP52 rating, a Hi-res audio certification, and an audio jack.

The Poco M4 5G is available in two variants: the 4GB + 64GB model retails for INR12,999 (~PHP 8.8K) while the 6GB + 128GB model sells out for INR14,999 (~PHP 10.2K). The mid-range handset comes in three colors and will open sales in India on May 5 via Flipkart
