PlayStation may not have a Deadpool’s butt controller, but it boasts a collection of unique designs. Today, it’s adding a new one to celebrate the upcoming Astro Bot title, and it’s easily one of the cutest DualSense controllers yet.
Team Asobi’s iconic Astro Bots have become the unofficial mascots for PlayStation controllers, especially in the DualSense era. The franchise’s two titles fully utilize all the features of the DualShock and DualSense controllers. Plus, the series includes characters from some of PlayStation‘s most recognizable franchises.
It’s only fitting that the DualSense controller is getting an Astro-themed design. Launching on September 6, this new controller features a metallic blue finish on both sides, robot-like motifs, Astro’s eyes on the touchpad, and blue icons.
It will be priced at Php 4,590, with pre-orders starting on August 9.
The Astro Bot Limited Edition controller has the same hardware as a regular DualSense, but its unique design makes it perfect for playing the third game in the series, simply titled Astro Bot.
Astro Bot launches on September 6 and is a 3D platformer designed to fully utilize the DualSense controller. This time, it features more modern characters like Aloy from Horizon and Kratos from God of War.
