Oppo is preparing to unveil the Find X8 Mini alongside the Find X8 Ultra in March, and new details about the smaller flagship device have leaked from China.
As reported by Digital Chat Station, the Oppo Find X8 Mini will feature a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED flat display with a 1216×2640 resolution. While the bezels will be narrow, they won’t be the absolute thinnest, giving the phone a sleek yet practical design.

On the rear of the device, the Find X8 Mini will be equipped with a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera, which promises to deliver impressive zoom capabilities. The phone will also support wireless charging and include an optical in-display fingerprint sensor for added convenience. Additionally, Oppo is introducing a new three-stage button that will replace the traditional alert slider, which has been a signature feature of its devices. This new button will function in a similar way, offering three distinct stages, but instead of sliding it, users will press it. Whether this button will be customizable remains uncertain, though it seems likely given Oppo’s focus on user personalization.
In terms of camera, previous rumors suggested that the Find X8 Mini could be equipped with a Sony IMX9 series sensor for its main camera, which would provide high-quality imaging. The device will also feature a metal frame and a glass back for a premium feel. On the performance side, it is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC, ensuring a fast and efficient user experience.
These new details paint a picture of a high-performance, compact device that packs flagship features in a smaller package, making the Find X8 Mini a potentially strong contender in the premium smartphone market.
