HMD Global appears to be prepared for another Android 12 upgrade, this time for the Nokia XR20 smartphone, which was released last summer with Android 11.
Users in Finland are reporting that they have received the desired update to the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system, according to reports on Twitter.
V2.300 is the name of the new build, and it appears to be rolling out over the air in certain regions of Europe now. Your Nokia XR20 will start up with Android 12 and the March 2022 security patch level, which is still valid for a few more days.
Aside from that, all of the new features that Google included in Android 12 last year should be present. Keep in mind that this could be a staged release, so the notification may not appear on all Nokia XR20 units out in the wild for days (or even weeks). If you don’t have an unlimited mobile data plan, it’s also a good idea to download the update over Wi-Fi.
