Honor has unveiled two new midrangers, the Honor X30i and Honor X30 Max, ahead of China’s biggest shopping holiday, Single’s Day (November 11). They are equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity chipsets, large LCDs, and large batteries.
Honor X30i 5G
The X30i features a 6.7-inch LCD with a refresh rate of 90Hz and FHD+ resolution. The top of the phone has a punch-hole cutout for its 8MP selfie camera, while the back has three modules, the most important of which is the 48MP main camera. A 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor are the final two.
The Dimensity 810 5G chipset from MediaTek is at the helm, with 6 or 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. A 4,000 mAh battery with 22.5W charging is also included in the phone. It has a thickness of 7.45mm and weighs 175 grams.
Honor X30i is available in pink, silver, blue, and black, with the base 6GB RAM with 128GB storage trim starting at CNY 1,399 ($218). The 8/128GB variant costs CNY 1,699 ($265), while the 8/256GB version costs CNY 1,899 ($296). Pre-orders begin later today in China, with official sales beginning on November 11.
Honor X30 Max 5G
The Honor X30 Max derives its moniker from the front-facing 7.09-inch FHD+ display. You’ve got yourself a decent portable media consumption gadget when you add two speakers and a 5,000 mAh battery.
The X30 Max is equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 900 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of storage. Around the rear, there’s a 64 MP primary camera and a 2MP depth module. The selfie camera has an 8MP resolution.
The Honor X30 Max 5G will be available in black, blue, and purple gradient hues, with the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage trim starting at CNY 2,399 ($375). CNY 2,699 ($422) will be charged for the 256GB storage unit. Pre-orders will begin later today, while actual sales will commence on November 11.
