Globe achieves a significant milestone for Philippine representation on the global stage by securing a spot on the prestigious board of the GSMA, a global organization of mobile network operators.
Ernest Cu, Globe President and CEO, will represent Globe. The Board will serve from January 2025 to December 2026.
The 26-member GSMA Board drives innovation, interoperability, and global mobile standards. Together, the members work to unlock the full potential of connectivity, enhancing business environments and driving positive societal change.
In its new role, the company will have a prominent voice in shaping the future of mobile technology, particularly in advancing digital inclusion and access in developing markets.
Cu will guide GSMA’s strategy, sharing insights to advance mobile policy, technology, and connectivity.
