ASUS ROG Launches All-New 2023 Flow Lineup

The gaming brand of ASUS, Republic of Gamers (ROG), is proud to unleash the all-new 2023 Flow laptop lineup, which also introduces the new Nebula Display. The new Flow X13 includes a brand-new 13-inch Nebula Display, as well as a revamped chassis and updated internals. The famous Flow Z13 also has a new 13-inch Nebula Display, and innovative silicon pushes the frontiers of tablet gaming to new heights.

Fast, Fluid, and Flexible Flow X13

The ROG Flow X13 was the first member of the Flow family, and for 2023, it will also be one of the first machines to feature a 13-inch Nebula Display. The amazing pixel density and bright colors of the QHD 165 Hz, 16:10 aspect-ratio Nebula Display provide incredible immersion in every game. The Flow X13 is a genuine gaming beast, with horsepower that belies its small size, thanks to an AMD Ryzen 9 processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Notebook GPU. In fact, the 2023 ROG Flow X13 is 10 mm smaller than the 2022 model, despite carrying updated hardware, keeping the 15-inch keyboard layout, and increasing the touchpad size by 56%. The battery was boosted to 75 Wh for greater power on the road. When gamers need to refuel, the 2023 Flow X13 supports up to 130 W charging with its lightweight and portable USB-C® adaptor.

The exterior was also redesigned, with a unique new wave pattern design on the aluminum lid. Instead of being uniform in thickness, the waves on the lid are now increasingly thicker, alluding to the Flow series’s gravity wave concept while also giving a texture that adds grip for easier carrying. The display isn’t the only part of the screen that has been upgraded; the glass has also been improved, and it now sports the brand-new Corning® Gorilla® Glass DXC covering. This coating not only increases surface hardness by 40% to protect the glass from nicks and scratches during normal use, but it also greatly minimizes glare.

Flow Z13 debuts with new Nebula Display

The ROG Flow Z13, the world’s most powerful gaming tablet/laptop, returns in 2023 to reclaim its throne, this time with improved components and its own 13-inch Nebula Display. This QHD 165 Hz, 16:10 aspect ratio panel has the same remarkable pixel density and bright colors as the Flow X13 due to 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and is protected against nicks and scratches to the touchscreen by Gorilla Glass DXC. The Flow Z13 is equipped with an Intel Core i9-13900H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU. With no user intervention, a MUX Switch with NVIDIA Advanced Optimus intelligently provides optimal frame rates when plugged in and better battery life when untethered.

The Flow Z13’s native stylus support makes it an ideal partner for artists, and apps like NVIDIA Canvas utilize the power of AI to accelerate their creative workflow. The Z13 includes access to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which gives gamers access to an ever-expanding selection of AAA and indie games. The Flow Z13 is ideal for long aircraft flights and other locations where gamers and makers are on the go.

Despite the upgrades, the Flow Z13 remains extraordinarily thin and light, measuring only 12 mm thick and 1.1 kg in weight. The Z13 is the perfect lightweight and portable traveling companion, with an attached keyboard that doubles as a screen cover. Despite its small size, the Z13 is deceptively silent, thanks to a unique vapor chamber and Thermal Grizzly liquid metal thermal compound on both the CPU and GPU. The Z13, with its 170° kickstand, is ideal for any situation, whether gamers require a tablet, controller gaming machine, or full-fledged battle station when combined with a ROG XG Mobile external GPU. A 3DNR 5 MP webcam and a 13 MP front-facing camera ensure that gamers can capture all of the important moments.
