Xiaomi kicked off its first major event of the year. The event featured the global release of the Redmi Buds 6 series, Watch 5, and two new powerbanks.
The Redmi Buds 6 feature dual drivers: 12.4mm titanium-coated dynamic drivers and 5.5mm piezoelectric tweeters. They pair via Bluetooth 5.4 and support dual-device pairing. Active noise cancellation (ANC) and 360 spatial audio with adjustable EQ profiles are available through the Xiaomi Headphones app. The battery life, including the case, lasts up to 42 hours. The Redmi Buds 6 come in White, Black, and Cyan, priced at €40.
The Redmi Buds 6 Pro, priced at €75, offer 11mm titanium-coated dynamic drivers paired with 6.7mm piezoelectric ceramic drivers. They provide enhanced ANC that reduces up to 55dB of surrounding noise and support LHDC 5.0 and LC3 audio codecs. Battery life for the Pro version lasts up to 36 hours, including the case.
The Redmi Watch 5, priced at €109, features a 2.07-inch AMOLED display with 1,500 nits peak brightness. It comes with an aluminum frame and a metal dial on the right-hand side, running on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2. It includes a speaker and microphone for direct calls from the watch.
With built-in GNSS and Xiaomi’s new heart-rate tracking sensor offering 97.1% accuracy, the Redmi Watch 5 also tracks blood oxygen, sleep, and stress. The 550mAh battery lasts up to 24 days with normal usage or 12 days with Always-On Display mode.
The Xiaomi 33W Power Bank 10000, priced at €25, is a compact 10,000 mAh powerbank with a built-in USB cable and up to 33W charging speeds. It also supports a USB-A port for 22.5W speeds.
For more power, the Xiaomi 165W Power Bank 10000, priced at €50, is a laptop-grade charger with a built-in LED status display. It offers 165W charging speeds via USB-C and supports dual-device charging with speeds up to 120W and 45W for Xiaomi devices, or 65W + 45W for non-Xiaomi devices.
