vivo launched the V50 earlier this month, and now, the Google Play Console listing hints at the upcoming V50 Lite. The V50 Lite is a 4G-only model featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 chipset and 8GB of RAM, ensuring solid performance. A 5G version, identified by the model number V2440, is also anticipated, providing faster speeds for better connectivity. The V50 Lite will come with a 1080×2392 resolution display, ensuring a crisp and clear viewing experience. It will launch with Android 15, bringing the latest software features and enhancements. This will ensure an improved user experience from the start.

The V50 Lite features a robust 6,500 mAh battery, ensuring extended usage for all-day performance. With this large battery, users can enjoy uninterrupted use, whether for work or entertainment. This ensures excellent battery life, perfect for users who need extended usage throughout the day. The device supports 90W fast charging for quick recharging. This allows users to get back to using their phone without delay. Storage-wise, the V50 Lite will feature 256GB of internal storage, providing ample space for apps, photos, videos, and other content, all without the worry of running out of space. A 5G variant, with the model number V2440, is also expected, delivering faster speeds for enhanced connectivity. According to the device’s recent FCC certification, it looks set to meet consumer demands with its long battery life and fast charging capabilities.

The official announcement of the V50 Lite is expected shortly, likely within the coming weeks. This highly anticipated release will provide more details about its features, specs, and availability in various markets. Vivo has already launched the V50 in two variants: one with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, priced at ₹34,999, and another with 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, priced at ₹36,999. With the V50 Lite joining the V50 lineup, vivo is expanding its presence in the competitive mid-range smartphone market. The V50 Lite is likely to be a great option for budget-conscious users, providing reliable performance, long battery life, and current software at an affordable price. Expect further details as the official release date approaches, as the V50 Lite promises to be an exciting addition to vivo’s lineup.
