Realme is preparing to release its first premium flagship smartphone, the Realme GT 2 Pro. We’ve learned a lot about the impending smartphone in the last few weeks owing to different leaks and teasers.
Realme has previously confirmed that the phone would be equipped with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and leaked renders of the gadget have provided us with a decent look at its appearance and some of its characteristics. Realme has now released additional information regarding the GT 2 Pro ahead of its formal debut.
Realme announced three revolutionary technologies that will debut with the Realme GT 2 Pro at an event today. Everything you need to know about new technologies is right here.
Paper Tech Master Design
The company did not reveal the GT 2 Pro at today’s presentation, but the company did clarify that it will have a new eco-friendly design. Realme claims that the device’s rear panel will be made of a novel biopolymer material and will have a design inspired by paper.
According to reports, this new bio-polymer material has passed the ISCC International Sustainability and Carbon Certification, as well as other environmental regulatory requirements such as REACH, RoHS, and EPEAT. Furthermore, Realme will release a redesigned box design for the GT 2 Pro with a lower overall plastic ratio (21.7 percent in the previous generation to 0.3 percent ).
World’s first 150° FoV wide-angle camera and Fish Eye mode
Realme has also revealed that its upcoming flagship will be the world’s first phone to include a 150° wide-angle camera, which increases the phone’s field of view by 278 percent (when compared to the primary camera’s 84° FoV).
Realme has also revealed that the GT 2 Pro will be the world’s first phone to include a 150° wide-angle camera, which increases the phone’s field of view by 278 percent (when compared to the primary camera’s 84° FoV).
Antenna Array Matrix System
Finally, the Realme GT 2 Pro will include a new Antena Array Matrix System, which will include three technologies: the world’s first ultra-wide-band antenna-switching technology (HyperSmart), a Wi-Fi Enhancer, and 360° NFC.
According to Realme, its HyperSmart antenna switching technology employs 12 wrap-around antennas that cover all sides of the phone and support mainstream bands in practically all directions. This will allow the GT 2 Pro to simultaneously evaluate the signal strength of all antennas and select the one with the best signal for improved stability.
To maintain balanced signal strength around the phone, the Wi-Fi Enhancer feature employs a symmetrical Wi-Fi antenna. According to Realme, this technology enhances Wi-Fi signal stability by 20% over an asymmetrical Wi-Fi antenna design.
The top two cellular antennas will also be integrated with an NFC signal transmitter feature in the GT 2 Pro. According to Realme, this boosts the NFC sensing area by 500% and decreases the sensing distance by 20%, allowing users to access NFC-powered capabilities throughout the full upper portion of the device.
These new features, together with information obtained through leaks in recent days, make us believe that the GT 2 Pro has the ability to compete with the top luxury smartphones of 2021. It remains to be seen whether this proves to be the case. Realme has not yet announced a firm launch date for the Realme GT 2 Pro. However, we anticipate that the corporation will release more information in the weeks running up to the launch. We’ll notify you as soon as we have more information.
