Smart Communications Inc., a leading telecom and digital services provider in the Philippines, offers a convenient Loan-A-Load feature for its subscribers. When you’re in urgent need of data or find yourself in an emergency without access to a reloading station, you can easily borrow load anytime, anywhere.
With Loan-A-Load, you can get 100MB of internet for just PHP 5. If you need more data, you can borrow 200MB for PHP 10 or 300MB for PHP 15. Here’s how you can avail of this service:
How to enter Facebook Free Mode
Before you can access Smart’s Loan-A-Load feature, you’ll need to start by using Facebook in Free Mode. To do this, make sure your WiFi is turned off and only your cellular data is on. Open the Facebook app on your Android device, and you should see a prompt inviting you to switch to Free Mode. This basic version of Facebook doesn’t use up any mobile data, so you can still use it even if you don’t have any prepaid load. Simply tap “Continue” and agree to the Terms and Conditions to get started.
How to use Loan-A-Load Smart:
First, use the above instructions to launch the Facebook app in free mode. Then, click “Buy Data” at the top of the screen and select which promos you wish to lend. Press “Get,” and you can now proceed by tapping “Use Data” after selecting “Confirm.”
Available Promos at Smart Loan-A-Load:
- Php5: 100 MB of open-access data for 1 day
- Php10: 200MB of open-access data for 1 day
- Php15: 300MB of open-access data for 1 day
Before subscribing to these loan load services, there are a few things you should know. The Mobile Center and Free Facebook Mode options aren’t available for iOS users, so Smart’s Loan-A-Load feature is only accessible through the Facebook mobile app on Android smartphones.
You can only avail of one Loan-A-Load at a time. Before you can borrow again, you’ll need to pay off any outstanding balance from previous loans.
Paying off your balance works just like the usual borrow-load feature—it will automatically deduct from your next top-up. Alternatively, you can also pay your balance by texting (7676), with the option to make partial payments.
