After launching the Pop 8 last October, Tecno has kept its promise by unveiling the Pop 9 5G today. This new model is crafted with Gen Alpha, college students, and trendsetters in mind. It features the Dimensity 6300 SoC, 4GB of RAM, and storage options of up to 128GB, all running on Android 14.

The device boasts a smooth 120Hz display, although the exact resolution and size remain a mystery. A centered punch-hole design houses the selfie camera, though details about its resolution are still under wraps.

Tecno Pop 9 5G Specifications

What we do know is that the Pop 9 5G’s rear camera features a 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor, which should deliver impressive shots. Additionally, the phone packs a robust 5,000 mAh battery, supported by 18W charging speed to keep you powered up throughout the day.

Other notable features of the Tecno Pop 9 5G include a convenient 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC support, and an IR blaster for added versatility. It also comes with an IP54 rating for some water and dust resistance, a USB-C port for easy connectivity, and dual speakers enhanced with Dolby Atmos for an immersive audio experience.

The Tecno Pop 9 5G is up for pre-booking in India through Amazon.in, with sales commencing on October 7. It will come bundled with two free skins in yellow and blue colors.
