Realme is set to launch the 14 Pro+ later this month, and we’ve already had the chance to get hands-on with the device, including capturing some camera samples in Copenhagen, Denmark. A recent leak from China has now shed more light on the phone’s key specs, including its display details and a major update on its battery capacity.
Realme 14 Pro+ Leaked Specs: Big Battery, Sleek Design
As previously reported, the Realme 14 Pro+ will feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset and run on Realme UI 6.0. Notably, it will be the only model in the 14 series to feature a periscope camera. According to a new leak from Digital Chat Station, the phone will have an IP66/68/69 rating for water and dust resistance. It will also measure a slim 7.99mm in thickness and weigh 194g, maintaining a sleek profile despite housing a large battery.
Display & Camera
The Realme 14 Pro+ will come equipped with a 6.83-inch display offering a resolution of 2800 x 1272px. The front screen will feature a 1.6mm bezel for an immersive viewing experience, and a 32MP punch-hole camera for high-quality selfies.
On the back, the device will sport a versatile 50MP main camera powered by the Sony IMX896 sensor. Alongside it will be an 8MP ultra-wide shooter and a 50MP telephoto lens, featuring the Sony IMX882 sensor. This combination promises excellent versatility for a range of photography needs.
Battery & Charging
One of the most exciting features of the 14 Pro+ is its 6,000mAh battery, a significant 15% increase compared to its predecessor, all while maintaining a slim profile. The phone will support 80W fast charging, the same as last year’s model, ensuring quick recharges despite the larger battery.
Launch Timeline
Realme plans to officially launch the 14 Pro and 14 Pro+ before January 2025 ends, marking one of the year’s first major releases. With its large battery, powerful camera setup, and sleek design, the 14 Pro+ is shaping up to be a strong contender in the premium mid-range segment.
