Oppo has announced that the Reno12 F 5G will launch next week on August 20th. The company describes it as an affordable AI-powered phone, offering advanced AI features at a more accessible price point.
The OPPO Reno 12F 5G is the newest addition to the Reno 12 lineup, joining the standard Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro. It’s listed on the company’s global website with full specifications. The phone features a circular camera module on the back for its triple camera setup and Halo Light. It also includes AI features like AI Eraser 2.0, AI Smart Image Matting 2.0, and AI Studio.
The new model features a design change and a different chip, the Dimensity 6300, which is a slight downgrade from the Dimensity 7050 in the Reno11 F 5G, with clock speeds of 2.4GHz compared to 2.6GHz.
The main camera has been downgraded to 50 megapixels from 64, and the wired charging speed has been reduced to 45W from 67W. As a result of these changes, a lower price than the previous model, which was priced at PHP 18,999, might be expected.
The OPPO Reno12 F 5G has already been listed online and will be available starting August 20 at 12:00 AM.
