OnePlus earlier today announced the Nord 2T. It’s the brand’s latest member of the Nord family, and it’s also the first phone to ship with the Dimensity 1300 chip.
For starters, the OnePlus Nord 2T packs a 6.43-inch FHD+ display in an AMOLED panel. It comes with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection with a punch-hole cut-out for the 32MP selfie camera. The phone opts in for a triple-camera setup on the back consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX 766 main sensor, alongside 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP monochrome units.
Inside is the all-new MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor, which uses TSMC’s 6nm process. The chip is accompanied by up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Software-wise, the Nord 2T runs on the latest OxygenOS 12.1 with Android 12 on top. The phone also offers a 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging tech through USB-C. Other key features are the inclusion of the in-display fingerprint reader and the stereo speakers.
