A new image circulating on social media shows the camera lens rings for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, confirming the previously leaked colors. The image also hints at a new bronze color option.
iPhone 16 Pro colors
The image was shared by Majin Bu on X, known for his reliable Apple leaks. He describes the new color as “Desert Titanium,” which he says is a “kind of dark gold.” He compares it to the Deep Purple of the iPhone 14 Pro, noting that the new color will be “relatively discrete and deep.”
The Pro’s “Desert Titanium” will replace the “Blue Titanium” from the iPhone 15 Pro lineup. This year’s options will include White Titanium, Black Titanium, and Natural Titanium. The new Black Titanium is expected to be much darker, while Natural Titanium will have a grayish finish.
Earlier leaks suggested the new devices might return to a polished finish similar to earlier stainless-steel models. These new camera lens ring images seem to support that. Although initial reports mentioned a “Rose Gold” finish, the current leaks point more towards a bronze-like color, suggesting those early reports might have been off.
I’m a bit disappointed that Rose Gold isn’t happening, though the bronze-like “Desert Titanium” isn’t too bad. I wasn’t a huge fan of the leaked images from last week, but I’m hoping it will look better when Apple reveals it next month.
