Honor made waves in the summer of 2023 with the launch of its X50 series, introducing three official variants that captured attention with their features and design. Now, the anticipation surges as the brand teases the arrival of a fourth variant, set to join the X50 family with the announcement of the HONOR X50 GT on January 4.
The forthcoming smartphone shares a resemblance with the existing HONOR X50 but distinguishes itself through a striking aesthetic. With a captivating white color accented by a distinctive yellow racing stripe and a classic black paint job, the X50 GT exudes a unique visual identity.
Drawing attention to its camera capabilities, the X50 GT will house an impressive 108 MP 1/1.67” sensor with an f/1.75 aperture, a detail discernible from the inscriptions on the back of the white version. This sensor, likely the popular Samsung HM6 sensor, has made its mark in various midrange devices, including the standard Honor X50 and the Honor Magic6 Lite/X9b.
Harrison Zhang, HONOR’s Chief Marketing Officer, underscores the X50 GT’s focus on performance excellence, emphasizing the GT series’ commitment to an “extreme pursuit of performance.” The forthcoming device is expected to feature enhancements in heat dissipation, a more responsive screen, and other performance-driven improvements rarely witnessed in the midrange X lineup.
Set for an event at 19:30 local time, the excitement mounts as HONOR gears up to unveil the X50 GT. With a week leading up to the event, enthusiasts eagerly anticipate further revelations and detailed insights into the features and innovations packed within this promising addition to the Honor smartphone lineup.
