Right after the new iMac was revealed, Apple introduced the 2024 Mac mini refresh—now smaller but more powerful than ever. The big news? The Mac mini has a redesigned, ultra-compact form factor, shrinking to just five inches per side.
Under the hood, the new Mac mini is powered by Apple’s latest M4 and M4 Pro chips, and it finally starts with 16GB of unified memory as standard. Apple Intelligence also makes its way into this compact powerhouse.
As for connectivity, there’s a solid lineup of ports: two USB-C ports and a 3.5mm combo jack up front, plus three Thunderbolt 4 or Thunderbolt 5 ports, HDMI 2.1, and Ethernet at the back.
