Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s global launch has officially been confirmed by Xiaomi Group Partner and President, Lu Weibing. The announcement came during a Q&A session with Chinese fans, where Lu revealed key details about the device’s upcoming launch. According to Lu, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be unveiled shortly after the Chinese New Year. However, since the Chinese New Year public holiday falls on February 4, it’s expected that the launch will occur after this period, likely in the coming weeks.
In addition to confirming the post-Chinese New Year timeline, Lu also mentioned that the global launch of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will coincide with Mobile World Congress (MWC), which is scheduled to take place in Barcelona at the end of February and early March. This timeline is typical for Xiaomi, as the company often unveils its devices in China before launching them globally.
As for the hardware, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to come with cutting-edge features. It will reportedly be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, ensuring top-tier performance for users. The device will also feature a 2K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, providing a smooth and vibrant viewing experience. Battery life is said to be impressive, with a 6,000mAh capacity, supporting both 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.
