The vivo Y200+ 5G has officially been unveiled in China, marking the brand’s newest addition to its lineup of entry-level smartphones.
The vivo Y200+ 5G features a 6.68-inch display with an HD+ resolution and an impressive peak brightness of 1,000 nits. To ensure comfortable viewing, it comes with TUV Rheinland certification for low blue light and supports global DC dimming to reduce eye strain.
The vivo Y200+ 5G is built to handle life’s little accidents with its Rock-Solid Shock Absorption, designed to withstand accidental drops. It also boasts an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, making it more durable for everyday use. Users can choose from three stylish color options: Apricot Sea, Midnight Black, and Sky City.
Under the hood, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor drives the device, combining with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. It also packs a massive 6,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging via USB Type-C, ensuring long-lasting performance and quick recharges.
For photography, the Y200+ 5G features a 50-megapixel main camera alongside a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there’s a 5-megapixel selfie camera for video calls and snapshots. The phone runs on OriginOS, based on Android 15, right out of the box.
Connectivity options include dual SIM support, 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. The vivo Y200+ 5G starts at an affordable CNY 1,099 (~PHP 9,000) for the 8GB/256GB variant, while the top-end 12GB/512GB model is priced at CNY 1,499 (~PHP 12,000).
The device is now available on vivo’s Chinese website. There’s no word yet on its availability in the Philippines, but we’ll keep you updated.
