The Vivo V40e isn’t the only new member of the V40 series launching today. Joining it are the V40 Lite 4G and V40 Lite 5G, both debuting in Indonesia. At first glance, you’d have a tough time telling them apart since they share the same design and most of the hardware, with the main difference being their chipsets.
The vivo V40 Lite 4G is powered by a Snapdragon 685 with 8GB of RAM, while the vivo V40 Lite 5G steps up to a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip and up to 12GB of RAM.
Both phones share identical designs, featuring a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The front has a punch-hole cut out for the 32MP selfie camera.
On the back, there’s a 50MP main camera (IMX882), along with a 2MP depth sensor and Vivo’s Aura Light portrait system. They also come with Vivo’s AI Imaging suite, offering features like AI Erase, Photo Enhance, and document scanning.
Both models run on Funtouch OS 14, based on Android 14, and pack 5,000 mAh batteries with support for up to 80W fast charging.
The vivo V40 Lite 4G is available in three attractive colors: Titanium Silver, Pearl Violet, and Carbon Black. It retails for IDR 3,299,000 (~ ₱12,300) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version, or IDR 3,599,000 (~ ₱13,600) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.
