PXO AKIRA: Introducing a New Vehicle Processing System
Sony’s PXO AKIRA, showcased at CES 2025, is a game-changing system for vehicle filming. It improves safety, reduces costs, and boosts creativity with a robotic crane, motion platform, LED tech, and digital twin tools. This all-in-one solution uses Virtual Production to film vehicles in any environment. Additionally, Sony introduced a 3D reconstruction tool that allows users to capture real-world scenes and transform them into immersive, 3D digital backgrounds.
XYN: A New Solution for Creating Spatial Content
XYN is an integrated software and hardware solution designed to help create spatial content, using advanced imaging, sensing, and display technologies. It employs proprietary algorithms to capture and reproduce objects, human motion, and backgrounds from real-world spaces with precision. This ensures efficient reproduction in 3D CGI environments. Currently under development, XYN is a key part of Sony’s long-term vision for the future of content creation.
