Samsung is gearing up for its next grand Unpacked event in Paris on July 10. The company kicked off its hype campaign by putting up massive billboards in cities worldwide, opting for this bold approach instead of relying solely on online promotion like some of its smaller competitors.
These billboards are popping up in cities like Bangkok, Brasília, Dubai, Ho Chi Minh City, London, Madrid, New York, Seoul, Tokyo, and Warsaw, among many others. The digital displays feature a rotating 3D cube on a flat surface, followed by an Eiffel Tower (a nod to Paris) image and the four stars from the Galaxy AI logo.
All of this is supposed to symbolize “Samsung’s journey to unlock all new experiences for users everywhere”. Samsung goes on to say that with this campaign, it’s “ushering in a world of possibilities that will soon change the way people maximize creativity, boost productivity, communicate without barriers and so much more”.
according to the official press release
At the Unpacked event on July 10, Samsung will announce the Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy Watch7, Galaxy Watch Ultra, and fully launch the Galaxy Ring.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Ring, expected to be unveiled in the second half of July 2024, is packed with advanced health and wellness tracking features. Key specifications include ECG monitoring, blood flow measurement, and sleep tracking, making it a comprehensive health monitoring device. Additionally, it supports wireless payments via NFC and can control other Samsung devices, enhancing its utility in a smart home ecosystem.
The ring will be available in eight different sizes, ensuring a good fit for many users. While it will only be compatible with Android devices, this new wearable is positioned to offer a robust alternative to existing health-focused smart rings like the Oura Ring.
