The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to launch later this year, and new details surrounding the device suggest that it will be one of the thinnest and lightest Samsung phones in recent years. Rumors indicate the S25 Edge will measure just 5.84 mm in thickness and weigh under 160 grams, making it a highly portable and sleek option in the Galaxy lineup.

A recent listing on Geekbench provides some significant insights into the S25 Edge’s performance. The phone appeared with the model number SM-S937B, which is likely the global variant of the device. The benchmark results reveal impressive performance, with a single-core score of 2,806 and a multi-core score of 8,416. According to the details, the phone will be powered by the powerful eight-core Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset. The device will also feature 12GB of RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking and high performance across apps and tasks.

Before this Geekbench listing, there were rumors that the Galaxy S25 Edge would feature a seven-core Snapdragon 8 Elite chip (SM8750-3-AB). However, this new report appears to confirm that Samsung is opting for the more capable eight-core processor, dispelling earlier speculations. The Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset will likely provide exceptional processing power, making the S25 Edge a competitive choice in the premium smartphone market.

In terms of pricing, the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to slot between the Galaxy S25+ ($1,000) and Galaxy S25 Ultra ($1,300). While exact release dates and additional details remain scarce, the Galaxy S25 Edge is shaping up to be an exciting flagship model with a blend of cutting-edge performance and sleek design, attracting tech enthusiasts and Samsung fans alike.
