Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 14 series in China in late September, followed by an Indian release in December. Now, a distinct set of models is arriving in Europe, featuring five new variants. In this article, we’ll focus on the Pro models, while the standard variants are covered separately.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. It provides a slight performance improvement over the Dimensity 7200 Ultra used in the previous Pro+. The device is available in multiple configurations, starting with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The top-tier model offers 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
The 6.67” OLED display boasts a resolution of 1,220 x 2,712px, a 120Hz refresh rate, and support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The peak brightness now reaches 3,000 nits and features 1,920Hz PWM dimming. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protects the display. The back features Gorilla Glass 7i or vegan leather, depending on the color choice.
The Pro+ features a 200MP main camera with OIS and 16-in-1 pixel binning, allowing for lossless 2x and 4x zoom. There’s an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro lens. The 20MP selfie camera now features a wider 0.8x lens. Dual Video allows simultaneous recording with both front and rear cameras.
A 5,110mAh battery powers the device, supporting 120W fast charging (with a 120W charger included in select regions). The Pro+ also boasts an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
The regular Redmi Note 14 Pro model comes in 4G and 5G variants, with distinct chipsets—Helio G100 Ultra for the 4G version and Dimensity 7300 Ultra for the 5G model. Both feature similar 6.67” curved OLED displays, with the same 20MP selfie camera and a 5,110mAh battery. However, the Pro 5G supports 45W charging, while the Pro 4G has a 5,500mAh battery with 45W charging support.
While both Pro variants share the same rear camera setup as the Pro+, the Pro 4G has a lower resolution display (1,080 x 2,400px), lacks Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support, and has an IP64 rating. Additionally, the Pro 4G has a microSD card slot, unlike the Pro 5G.
