After a series of high-profile leaks, including one earlier today, the Redmi 14C is now officially unveiled. This budget-friendly device sports a fresh design, a larger 6.88-inch display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the brand-new Helio G81 Ultra chipset.
The Redmi 14C features a 6.88-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The display can reach up to 600 nits of peak brightness and has a 13MP selfie camera neatly tucked into a waterdrop notch.
The Redmi 14C is the first phone to debut with MediaTek‘s new Helio G81 Ultra chipset. It comes with the same CPU setup as the G80, featuring Cortex-A75 and Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 2.0GHz, paired with a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. You can pick between 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of RAM, with storage options of 128GB or 256GB. If you need more space, you can easily expand it with a microSD card.
On the back, the Redmi 14C sports a 50MP main camera alongside an unspecified secondary lens. Two additional cutouts house the LED flash and a sticker. Xiaomi has also equipped the phone with a slightly larger 5,160 mAh battery that supports 18W charging. They’ve kept the side-mounted fingerprint scanner and the trusty headphone jack as well.
The Redmi 14C comes in Midnight Black, Sage Green, Dreamy Purple, and Starry Blue. While Xiaomi hasn’t announced the official pricing yet, the device is already available from retailers in Czechia. The 4GB/128GB model costs around CZK 2,999, or approximately ₱7,400, while the 8GB/256GB version goes for CZK 3,699, roughly ₱9,200.
