Red Magic has unveiled its latest gaming tablet, the Nova, as the successor to last year’s Red Magic Tablet. True to form, the Nova uses the most advanced chip available today.
The new Nova tablet runs on the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (the AC version also known as Leading version with the higher-clocked 3.4 GHz main Cortex-X4 core) paired with 12 GB/256 GB, 16 GB/512 GB or 24 GB/1 TB memory configurations.
The LCD measures 10.9″ in diagonal, offers 2,880 x 1,800px resolution in a 16:10 aspect ratio and support for up to 144 Hz refresh rate. Тhe tablet also features super-resolution tech for Genshin Impact to increase visual fidelity.
The Nova tablet packs a hefty 10,100 mAh battery, impressive for a 10.9-inch device. It supports 120W fast charging, reaching 50% in just 15 minutes and a full charge in under 45 minutes.
For cameras, it features a 20 MP front camera and a 50 MP rear shooter.
The Red Magic Nova enhances gaming with a 4-speaker system and a large x-axis linear motor for sharp, precise feedback. It also includes special features for games like Peace Elite, Asphalt 9, PUBG Mobile, and Knives Out.
Red Magic uses a 9-layer passive cooling system with a 20,000 RPM active fan to keep the hardware running smoothly.
The Nova tablet features Red Magic’s iconic semi-transparent design with aluminum, glass, and vibrant RGB lighting. It comes in two color options: Cyclone and Snowfall.
The tablet is currently only available in China but will be released to other markets soon. Estimated in Philippine pesos, the 12 GB/256 GB variant is around PHP 31,700, the 16 GB/512 GB at PHP 35,500, and the 24 GB/1 TB at roughly PHP 44,200.
