“Power Mac Center is honored to extend our education solutions to the local government of Bataan and its dedicated teachers, empowering them in an increasingly tech-driven education landscape. We hope to collaborate with more local governments and academic institutions in our mission to help Filipino students become globally competitive,” said Joey Alvarez, PMC’s Director for Marketing and Product Management.
PMC offers Bataan specialized support, including procurement, priority service, repair, and training for teachers, principals, and IT personnel. Training covers using Macs in teaching, learning, and providing resources to foster classroom innovation and growth. This investment aims to help Bataan’s students become competitive by equipping them with essential digital skills for success.
“Alam natin na makakatulong ito sa inyong pagtuturo, paggawa ng inyong mga lesson plans (We know that this will help you in your teaching, creating your lesson plans),” said Bataan Vice Governor Ma. Cristina Garcia. “Makakaasa po kayo at ipinagmamalaki ko sa iba pang mga Vice Governor sa ibang probinsya na talagang ang ating SEF o special education fund ay talagang ramdam sa ating lalawigan ng Bataan, at talagang ibinibigay natin yung parte para sa ating education system (Rest assured and I proudly tell Vice Governors in other provinces that our SEF or special education fund is fully harnessed in our province of Bataan, and we are really contributing to our education system).”
This event marked the second phase of the device turnover, following the success of the initial rollout in 2023, which benefited over 2,500 junior and senior high school teachers and Division supervisors.
