The iPhone SE 4 is just around the corner, and anticipation is building for its unveiling. However, recent reports have left some uncertainty around the device’s design, particularly regarding the notch and Dynamic Island features.
A key display analyst has now provided some clarity, confirming that the iPhone SE 4 will indeed feature a notch, settling the debate once and for all.
Trusted Source Confirms iPhone SE Will Feature a Notch
Ross Young, an analyst at DSCC, stands out as one of the most reliable sources for Apple display information. Recently, he weighed in on the ongoing debate about whether the iPhone SE will feature a notch or a Dynamic Island.
In a brief reply to 9to5Mac on X, Young confirmed, “Notch like iPhone 14 is correct,” providing a straightforward and authoritative answer to the question. This confirmation comes as no surprise since rumors have long suggested the iPhone SE 4 will resemble the iPhone 14. Adding a Dynamic Island would likely have undermined the iPhone 16’s appeal.
The new SE is already expected to boast several iPhone 16-level features, such as:
- full Apple Intelligence support
- 8GB of RAM
- A18 chip
- USB-C port
- and a similar 48MP rear camera
With the iPhone SE featuring a notch and the iPhone 16 sporting a Dynamic Island, there will be a clear visual difference between Apple’s budget model and its flagship.
