The Huawei Pura 70 series has just hit the market, and it looks like it’s going to be a big hit. Analysts from a well-known research firm expect over 10 million units to be shipped this year, especially after the top-end models sold out in under a minute.

Sui Qian, the Senior Director of Wireless Smartphone Strategic Services at TechInsights, believes that the Pura 70 series will continue to generate a lot of buzz among consumers. They anticipate that the flagship Pura 70 will follow the innovative trend set by the Mate 60 series, driving sales and growth for Huawei.

Sui also mentioned that if Huawei can keep the prices reasonable and solve any production capacity issues, the Pura 70 series could easily surpass 10 million units in 2024. This optimistic forecast applies to all models of the Pura 70 series, including the standard, Pro, Pro+, and Ultra variants.

Huawei Pura 70 Series Specifications

The Huawei Pura 70 series introduces a fresh design aesthetic, featuring a distinctive triangular camera module on the rear that sets it apart from other smartphones. The standard model boasts a flat design, while the Pro variants sport slightly curved edges, with a weight difference between them. Each phone offers a range of color options to suit individual preferences.

In terms of display, the Pura 70 features a 6.6-inch screen, while the Pro models boast a larger 6.8-inch OLED display with advanced features like adaptive refresh rates and high-frequency PWM dimming, all protected by second-gen Kunlun Glass.

Known for its photography prowess, the Pura 70 series doesn’t disappoint, with a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP primary lens, 13MP ultrawide lens, and 12MP periscope telephoto lens. Selfie enthusiasts will appreciate the 13MP front camera nestled in a punch-hole notch.

Under the hood, the Pro models are powered by the Kirin 9010 chip with Maleoon 910 GPU, while the standard version gets the Kirin 9000S1 chip. Battery-wise, the Pura 70 offers a 4900mAh battery with fast charging support, while the Pro models boast larger capacities and faster charging speeds.

Starting at competitive price points, the Huawei Pura 70 series offers a compelling option for smartphone users seeking cutting-edge features and performance. For more information, visit Huawei’s official website.

More than 10 Million Sales Projection

Ming-Chi Kuo, a well-known analyst, previously predicted that shipments of the Huawei P70 series could increase by 150% compared to previous models. He estimated that the new lineup could potentially reach anywhere between 10 to 12 million units in 2024.

The fact that the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra/Pro models sold out within minutes of hitting the shelves this morning is a testament to their popularity. With such high demand, it’s reasonable to expect a significant shipment value for this premium lineup.
