Huawei has officially introduced its latest mid-range smartphone, the Huawei Enjoy 70X, in China. Packed with standout features, it offers satellite SMS support for staying connected in remote areas and a massive 6,100mAh battery with 40W wired charging for long-lasting power.
The Huawei Enjoy 70X features a stunning 6.78-inch curved OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It also includes a pill-shaped notch for the 8MP selfie camera and an in-display fingerprint scanner for added security and convenience.
Huawei has included a handy programmable “X Button” on the side, allowing users to quickly access their favorite apps, widgets, or contacts with a single press.
The back of the device features a dual-camera setup, led by a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.56” RYYB sensor for enhanced low-light performance, paired with a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots.
Huawei hasn’t officially revealed the processor yet, but rumors suggest it could be the Kirin 8000A 5G chipset. With its six-core CPU, Mali-G610 GPU, and 8GB of RAM, it’s expected to offer performance on par with the Snapdragon 695.
As mentioned earlier, the Huawei Enjoy 70X stands out with its Beidou satellite connectivity, which lets users in China send SMS messages and images even in areas without network coverage. It runs HarmonyOS 4.2 and offers four stylish color options: Gold Black, Snow White, Lake Blue, and Spruce Green.
Pricing starts at CNY 1,799 (~PHP 14,000) for the 128GB model and goes up to CNY 2,299 (~PHP 18,200) for the 512GB variant. Reservations are now open, with shipping set to begin on January 10.
There’s no confirmation yet if Huawei plans to make this device available globally, especially since the satellite feature is currently exclusive to China.
