HONOR has finally rolled out the MagicOS 9.0 update, putting AI features front and center. The company describes the new OS as “the industry’s first all-scenario personalized AI operating system.”
The update includes an enhanced YOYO AI assistant and introduces HONOR’s exclusive MagicLM technology, powered by large language models (LLMs). This upgrade marks a significant boost in AI capabilities across HONOR’s devices, making them smarter and more responsive than ever.
HONOR is rolling out upgrades to its Magic Portal and Magic Capsule features with the release of MagicOS 9.0. Magic Portal now offers a more seamless, user-friendly experience—users can simply circle objects to get instant word and visual recognition, allowing direct interaction with connected devices without having to manually activate them.
In addition to these AI enhancements, the new OS also brings improved security features, which were highlighted at MWC in Shanghai. These updates make the overall experience smarter, faster, and more secure for HONOR users.
