Once activated, it provides the convenience of controlling these devices directly from your phone’s lock screen without having to unlock your phone. For more sensitive devices, such as smart locks or security cameras, the app will guide you to the Google Home app for secure monitoring and control.
In addition to smart home devices, the Gemini Extension also enhances the management of media devices. You can adjust volume levels, pause entertainment, or even power down your TV with simple voice commands. It also enables users to broadcast messages to devices throughout the house and trigger automations or routines, which adds an extra layer of convenience.
