Samsung launched its latest flagship smartphones—the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra—on February 7, 2025, and within just 21 days, the company has sold one million units of the three models combined in South Korea.

This achievement makes the Samsung series fastest lineup to reach one million sales in its home country, surpassing the previous record held by the Galaxy Note 10 series, which reached the same milestone in 25 days. The new phones hit the one million mark four days earlier, reflecting their strong demand and popularity.
According to Korea’s ET News, the main factors contributing to the series’ rapid sales include the phones’ sleek design, high performance, and the introduction of Galaxy AI. Samsung’s new Galaxy AI Subscription Club, which makes upgrading to newer devices easier, has also played a significant role in driving sales.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra has been the most popular model, accounting for about 50% of the one million units sold. Titanium Whitesilver and Titanium Silverblue were the most sought-after colors for the Ultra, while the Galaxy S25 and S25+ saw strong sales in Silver Shadow and Ice Blue.
Samsung’s success in the first 21 days of sales highlights the strong demand for premium smartphones and the appeal of the series. The combination of innovative features, attractive design, and Samsung’s new subscription service has resonated with consumers, ensuring the S25 series is off to an impressive start. This rapid success in South Korea indicates that the S25 lineup is poised for continued growth as it expands to other markets globally.
