Oppo has announced its annual Oppo Developer Conference (ODC) for October 17, just about a month away. The main event will be the unveiling of ColorOS 15, with the theme “AI, One Step Closer,” hinting at a major focus on artificial intelligence.
During the conference, Oppo will showcase some cutting-edge AI applications, highlight technological innovations, and reveal new ways to enhance the gaming experience. They’ll also explore future possibilities in transportation and more.
One exciting new feature in new ColorOS is the AI note assistant. This tool will smartly organize and refine your notes with just one click, reflecting the OS’s emphasis on integrating AI to boost performance and usability.
ColorOS 15 will run on Android 15, bringing a host of new features such as syncing notifications across devices, private spaces, and enhanced multitasking for large screens. Android 15 (AOSP) is expected to roll out in mid-October, and Oppo will confirm the exact timeline for ColorOS 15 at the ODC.
While Oppo will update older models, the Oppo Find X8 series will fully showcase ColorOS 15. Expect to see Oppo’s version of a Camera Control button, a Dynamic Island-style interface, and a magnetic charging system—bringing a touch of Apple-inspired design to their latest devices.
