Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil its most advanced electric vehicle yet: the SU7 Ultra. If the standard SU7 is any indication, this Ultra model is poised to shake things up in the EV world.
Xiaomi founder Lei Jun has called the SU7 Ultra his “Dreamcar,” and it’s clear why. This vehicle is tailored for those who demand high performance. Although full specifications remain a mystery, Xiaomi has been gradually revealing enticing teasers about the SU7 Ultra’s remarkable capabilities.
The production SU7 Ultra will feature a carbon fiber rear wing and a powerful triple-motor setup, likely using Xiaomi’s “V8s” motors, delivering 1,548 horsepower. With a 0 to 100 km/h time of just 1.97 seconds, the SU7 Ultra ranks among the fastest hypercars available.
Xiaomi promises that the Ultra will offer a well-rounded driving experience, blending performance with cutting-edge technology and luxurious comfort. While details remain unknown, the SU7 Ultra will feature advanced driver-assistance systems, a luxury interior, and the latest in-car entertainment technology.
The SU7 Ultra, built on Xiaomi’s first EV, the SU7 sedan (starting at RMB 215,900 or approximately ₱1,570,000), will be the flagship model. Lei Jun has indicated it will be “slightly more expensive” than the standard SU7.
Goldman Sachs analysts anticipate that the average selling price for the SU7 Ultra will be around RMB 800,000 (approximately €100,900 or about ₱5,840,000). They predict that sales could reach around 4,000 units by 2025.
Xiaomi has already seen significant success with the SU7, surpassing 10,000 deliveries for four consecutive months. The company aims to produce and deliver over 20,000 vehicles in October, making the official figures highly anticipated!
The SU7 Ultra, officially unveiled on October 29, is generating buzz thanks to the impressive SU7. Though it may cost more than other models, its outstanding performance makes it seem like a great deal.
Will it compete with the Rimac Nevera? Probably not, but it’s sure to make Chinese buyers reconsider their choices when it comes to Italian supercars. Xiaomi is raising the bar with the SU7 Ultra!
