The Xiaomi 12 Lite is now official following a number of significant leaks and a brief teaser campaign. The phone features a 120Hz OLED screen, a 108MP primary camera, and an extremely low price.
The 6.55″ AMOLED display with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support was carried over to the 12 Lite, which is the 11 Lite 5G NE’s replacement. The punch hole on the new gadget is in the center, making it easy to distinguish between the two. With the new panel, 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate are now supported.
The Snapdragon 778G chipset, which is still fabricated using a 6nm process, is once more paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.
The phone’s main camera on the rear features a 108MP Samsung HM2 sensor with an f/1.9 aperture. An 8MP f/2.4 ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera are placed next to it.
A 32MP Samsung GD2 sensor and an f/2.5 aperture lens are included with the selfie camera. In addition to AF, there are a lot of software features, such as Selfie portrait mode and Xiaomi Selfie Glow.
The Xiaomi 12 Lite, like its other siblings that are sold internationally, has a 4,300 mAh battery that supports 67W rapid charging. The adapter is also included in the box. Although the smartphone supports dual SIMs and dual 5G standby, market availability may differ. MIUI 13 is the user interface, which is based on Android 12.
Three color options—Black, Pink, and Green—and three memory levels are available for purchase. The 6/128 GB version is $400, the 8/128 GB version is $450, and the top 8/256 GB version is $500. The approved online platforms of Xiaomi are now accepting preorders.
