Samsung is set to reveal its latest Galaxy S25 flagship phones at the Unpacked event on January 22, 2025. The teaser initially suggested four devices would be introduced, but it now seems only three models will be unveiled. These include the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
With just six days until the official launch, trusted tipster Evan Blass has leaked official images of the three phones. Each device will be available in four distinct color options: Light Blue, Light Green, Dark Blue, and Silver. These new color variations aim to add variety and give users more choices for their preferred look.
The Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ are almost identical in design, both featuring flat displays, slim bezels, and flat frames. These two phones look remarkably similar, with only subtle differences between them. These distinctions may not be immediately apparent to most users. The color options for both models are the same, further adding to the similarity between them. A trained eye may be needed to spot the slight variations in the renders. However, they are clearly two distinct models within the lineup.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra takes a more refined approach in terms of design. It introduces a more rounded, ergonomic shape by ditching the sharp corners that were seen in its predecessor. This new design is said to provide a better in-hand feel, making the device more comfortable to hold for extended periods. Additionally, the bezels on the S25 Ultra are significantly thinner, as anticipated from previous rumors. The phone will be offered in four premium Titanium-based color options: Black, Silver, Blue, and Gray (which closely resembles Sand Gold), making it the most premium device of the three.
The images also reveal an interesting omission—the absence of renders for the Galaxy S25 Slim. This omission suggests that the rumored slim variant, which is expected to replace the Galaxy S25 FE in the flagship lineup, may not be unveiled during the January 22 event. Instead, it is now anticipated that the Galaxy S25 Slim will be launched later this year. Positioned between the S25+ and S25 Ultra, the Slim variant is expected to offer a more compact design with similar features, but with a sleeker profile to cater to users who prefer a smaller, more lightweight device without compromising on performance.
As the official launch draws near, these images and leaks have built anticipation for the new Samsung Galaxy S25 series, giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come in the 2025 flagship lineup.
