Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Z Fold6 Special Edition in South Korea, featuring the thinnest and lightest design yet for a Samsung foldable.
It now measures just 10.6 mm when folded and weighs 236 grams, making it around 1.5 mm thinner and 3 grams lighter than the standard Galaxy Z Fold6. When unfolded, it’s impressively slim at only 4.9 mm.
Another exciting update is the camera upgrade: the primary camera now boasts an impressive 200 megapixels, up from 50 megapixels, and includes optical image stabilization for better shots.
The rest of the camera setup stays the same, featuring a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 10-megapixel telephoto lens, and two selfie cameras—a 10-megapixel on the cover screen and a 4-megapixel sensor tucked under the main display. Plus, wireless charging is a bit quicker now at 15W, compared to the previous 10W.
