After unveiling the Reno13 and Reno13 Pro mid-range smartphones in China last November, OPPO is now all set to launch them in India on January 9, 2025, at 5 PM IST. The devices will be available for purchase via OPPO’s official online store or Flipkart.
For their Indian launch, OPPO has confirmed that the Reno13 will be available in Luminous Blue and Ivory White, while the Reno13 Pro will come in Mist Lavender and Graphite Grey.
The Chinese versions of both devices feature impressive hardware, making them a standout in the mid-range segment.
To recap, the OPPO Reno13 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1256×2760, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. It’s powered by the Dimensity 8350 SoC, with options for 12GB or 16GB of RAM and storage ranging from 256GB to 1TB.
The camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP selfie camera. Keeping it powered is a 5,600mAh battery with 80W wired charging support.
On the other hand, the Reno13 Pro ups the ante with a larger 6.83-inch AMOLED display, a 1272×2800 resolution, and an improved camera system featuring a 50MP main sensor and a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. It also boasts a slightly larger 5,800mAh battery that supports both 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
That said, OPPO often makes adjustments to their devices when releasing them outside China, so it’ll be interesting to see if these specs hold up for the Indian launch or even when the devices arrive in the Philippines.
