Right after MediaTek unveiled the Dimensity 9400, OPPO confirmed that the Find X8 Series will officially launch on October 24 in China.
The lineup will feature the Find X8, Find X8 Pro, and a special Find X8 Pro Satellite Communication edition.
We recently got a sneak peek at the standard Oppo Find X8 through leaked live images, showing off its signature circular camera island and flat frame design.
On paper, the Find X8 Pro will feature a quad-camera setup with dual periscope telephoto lenses. Meanwhile, the standard model will likely have a triple-camera system with a single periscope lens.
The Find X8 Pro may also include a Camera Control button, similar to what we’ve seen on the iPhone 16 Series.
Up front, both models are set to feature micro quad-curved OLED displays. Other key features to look forward to include ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, 50W wireless charging, and off-network communication technology called ‘BeaconLink.
Reports indicate that the Find X8 and X8 Pro have already been certified in India, Indonesia, and Thailand, hinting at a global release soon after.
Additionally, rumors suggest that an Ultra model will launch in January 2025, featuring an unreleased ‘Snapdragon 8 Elite’ chip.
