Motorola has officially announced the Edge 50 Neo, the latest addition to their Edge series. It’s now hitting select European markets and the UK.
This device has MIL-STD-810H certification and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, similar to the Edge 50, but it also features some key differences.
The Edge 50 Neo features a smaller 6.4-inch flat pOLED display with a peak brightness of up to 3000 nits. It also swaps the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition for the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. Plus, you can get it with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
The Motorola Edge 50 Neo comes with a versatile camera setup: a 50MP main camera with a Sony LYT-700C sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide camera with macro mode, a 10MP telephoto lens, and a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies.
It packs a 4,310mAh battery with 68W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging.
The phone is available in Pantone Poinciana, Pantone Lattè, Pantone Grisaille, and Pantone Nautical Blue colors. In Europe, it’s priced at 499 Euros (around PHP 30,300) and 449.99 GBP (around PHP 32,200) in the UK for the 12GB + 512GB model.
The Edge 50 Neo will soon be available in other markets across Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Oceania. It’s also set to launch in China as the Moto S50 on September 5th.
