As expected, Infinix has unveiled its new Zero 40 series, including the Zero 40 4G and Zero 40 5G. Both models come with curved AMOLED displays, 108MP main cameras, and 5,000 mAh batteries with 45W charging. The 5G version features a more powerful chipset, wireless charging, and a few additional upgrades.
The Infinix Zero 40 4G and 5G both have a 6.74-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 1,300 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 5. The Zero 40 refreshes at 120Hz, while the 5G model has a 144Hz panel. Both feature a 50MP front camera and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
On the back, both phones feature a 108MP main camera with Samsung’s ISOCELL HM6 sensor and OIS. They also include a 50MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP depth sensor. The Zero 40 5G records 4K at 60fps, while the Zero 40 tops out at 2K and 30fps.
Another cool feature is the GoPro mode, which lets you connect the Zero 40 or Zero 40 5G to a compatible GoPro camera. You can then use your phone as a viewfinder and control shooting modes directly from the camera app. Plus, the GoPro Quik app comes pre-installed on both phones.
The Zero 40 5G features a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset with 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage, while the Zero 40 has a Helio G100 chipset with 8GB RAM and the same storage options.
Both phones run XOS 14.5 on Android 14 and receive 3 years of security updates and 2 Android version upgrades. The Zero 40 supports Wi-Fi 5, while the 5G model features faster Wi-Fi 6e. Both have 5,000 mAh batteries with 45W wired charging, but the Zero 40 5G also supports 20W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging.
The Infinix Zero 40 4G comes in Misty Aqua, Blossom Glow, and Rock Black, while the Zero 40 5G is available in Violet Garden, Moving Titanium, and Rock Black.
The Zero 40 4G starts at MYR 1,200 ($279/~PHP 15,680), and the Zero 40 5G starts at MYR 1,699 ($395/~PHP 22,915). Sales start on September 8.
