Samsung has a reputation for playing it safe with Android phone upgrades, and it seems the Galaxy S25 series is no exception. According to a reliable source, we now have details on the Galaxy S25 Plus battery capacity.
Galaxy Club reports that the Samsung S25 Plus will feature the same battery as its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Plus. The new model will reportedly come with a rated capacity of 4,755mAh and an advertised capacity of 4,900mAh.
The leaked S25 is expected to keep its 4,000mAh battery, while the S25 Ultra will stick with a 5,000mAh battery, just like last year’s models.
Having the same battery capacity doesn’t always mean the same battery life. Factors like the chipset and display can play a big role in how long the phone lasts. Hopefully, Samsung can still deliver better battery life on the Galaxy S25 series through more efficient hardware.
That said, the S25 series might fall behind some of its competitors in terms of battery size. Phones like the OnePlus 12, vivo X100 Pro, and HONOR Magic 6 Pro offer 5,400mAh+ batteries, with the OnePlus 13 rumored to hit 6,000mAh, pushing the bar for flagship devices.
