Gaming laptops are a great way to enjoy the latest titles without the hassle of hunting for hardware. But Acer new innovation, Project DualPlay, might make these notebooks even more exciting.
Unveiled at IFA 2024, Project DualPlay introduces a fresh twist on gaming laptops. Instead of a traditional design, this concept features a detachable wireless controller. Players can easily grab the controller from an electromagnetic slot where the trackpad usually sits. For added security, a release mechanism on top of the keyboard requires a two-finger touch to unlock the controller.
The Acer Project DualPlay concept takes gaming laptops to the next level by offering a detachable controller that can split into two joysticks, perfect for multiplayer sessions.
And it wouldn’t be a gaming laptop without some flashy features—this concept includes 360-degree dynamic RGB lighting on the keyboard, around the screen, and on the trackpad.
Since it’s still a concept, Acer hasn’t announced when Project DualPlay might become a real product.
