Apple Might Be Introducing Higher Refresh Rate Displays for iPads and iMacs! A new report suggests that the tech giant is developing 90Hz display technology, which could soon enhance the iPad Air, 24-inch iMac, and Studio Display.
According to 9to5Mac, this smoother 90Hz display will debut with the upcoming M3 iPad Air, delivering a more fluid navigation experience.
This new technology could eventually make its way to the 24-inch iMac and Studio Display, giving these beloved Apple products a refreshing upgrade. There are also whispers that the base models of the iPhone 17 might finally feature 120Hz screens. With such a significant leap for the iPhone, it’s only logical for Apple to enhance its other devices as well.
The next-gen iPad Air with a higher refresh rate display will launch in early 2025. However, we don’t have a clear timeline for when the 24-inch iMac and Studio Display will get their upgrades. Considering the recent refresh of the 24-inch iMac, a major update for it won’t likely arrive until late 2025 at the earliest.
