Surprise! Google didn’t stop at launching just three models in the Pixel 9 series. They’ve also introduced the new Pixel 9 Pro Fold, the latest addition to their foldable lineup. If a regular phone isn’t enough for you anymore, check out Google’s new foldable.
One of the thinnest foldables
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is essentially a foldable version of Google’s new flagship series and one of the thinnest foldable devices on the market today. When unfolded, it’s just 5.1mm thin, and when folded, it’s 10.5mm thin.
The main screen is an 8.0-inch Actua display with 2076 x 2152 resolution, a 1Hz to 120Hz refresh rate, 2700 nits’ peak brightness, and LTPO capabilities.
The 6.3-inch external display has a 1080 x 2424 resolution and a 60Hz to 120Hz refresh rate, similar to the regular Pixel 9.
The Hardware
Under the hood, the device is powered by the new Tensor G4 chipset, 16GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of internal storage.
This foldable also boasts an impressive array of cameras enhanced by Google’s Gemini. The back features a 48MP main sensor, 10.5MP ultrawide sensor, and 10.8MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and 20x Super Res Zoom.
Additionally, the front and inner cameras each feature a 10-megapixel selfie shooter.
All about AI
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold comes with Gemini Advanced and 2TB of cloud storage. Users can utilize the new Split Screen feature for multitasking, with Pixel Screenshots saving important info automatically and Call Assist managing phone calls seamlessly.
Google continues to infuse photo editing with AI. The Magic Editor on the Fold can automatically suggest the best edits, including the ideal crop, to make your photos stand out.
